Aunty is a matchmaking service for Bangladeshis at home and in the diaspora. It is operated by The Auntie Project, a sole proprietorship licensed in Bangladesh under trade licence 26591843319000436, of Mojidpur Doyahata, Ward 1, Post Office: Mojidpur Doyahata-1541, Sreenagar, Munshiganj, Dhaka Division, Bangladesh. • You must be 18 or older. Aunty is a matrimonial service and accounts belonging to minors are removed.
• One account per person. An account is personal to you and may not be shared, sold or transferred.
• The details you give — your name, age, education, work, family and photographs — must be your own and must be true. Matching is built on them, and a false answer wastes somebody else's time as much as your own.

Aunty is free to use. Paid plans and point packs unlock optional features — seeing who liked you, opening more profiles, sending notes, inviting a guardian, and similar. Prices are shown in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) on the upgrade page before you pay, and include any applicable VAT.

A subscription runs for the period stated at purchase and does not renew automatically unless the purchase page says so. Points are a prepaid balance inside the app; they have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are not transferable between accounts.

Payments are processed by SSLCommerz. You enter card or account details on their secure page — we never see or store them. We receive only the result of the transaction and a reference for it.

Access is granted as soon as the payment is confirmed. See the Delivery Policy for timings and the Refund Policy for when money can be returned.

• No harassment, abuse, threats, hate speech or sexual content towards anyone on the service.
• No impersonation, no photographs of other people, and no profiles created on somebody's behalf without their knowledge.
• No soliciting money, no advertising, no recruiting for other services.
• Do not take screenshots or copies of another member's profile or messages and publish them anywhere.

Reports are read by a person. An account that breaks these rules can be hidden from other members, suspended, or closed — and where the behaviour is serious, closed without notice and without a refund of any remaining paid period.

Aunty introduces people using what they have told us about themselves. We do not promise a match, a conversation, a meeting or a marriage, and we do not verify every claim a member makes about themselves. Face verification confirms that the person in the photograph is the person holding the phone; it is not a background check.

Meeting anybody from the internet is your decision and your responsibility. Tell somebody where you are going, meet in public the first time, and do not send money to anybody you have met here.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion removes your profile from matching immediately. Some records — payment references, moderation reports and anything we are required to keep by law — are retained as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top of this page is the date of the current version, and material changes are announced in the app before they take effect.

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bangladesh.
